I visit Anand's site since the beginning. I have at least 2 computers since 1989 and I never bought one. I built until then in the undreds. My number 2 computer which is "on" everyday will turn already 4 years old before the end of the year. It has a chieftech tower case, a Fortron 550 ps, a supermicro p4saa mb, 3.06 northwood, 4x512 pc2100 ecc crucial, an ATI 9600 pro, Lsi 21320, Seagate 15k3 18gig. boot drive, fujitsu 15k 36 gig (bought 2 years ago) as a secondary to produce digital stuff, a Quantum 10kIII 73 gig as an attic, sb512.
That thing still rocking as well as at the beginning. It is the first computer to last longer than 4 months in my house. Good thing can last and mutate their purpose. It is now an excellent server for the home.
