Whats a good mobo+cpu combo for around 300$? I prefer AMD but if an intel combo is better and faster i will consider. I play CS:S competitively and need a combo 😀
 
Get any Intel P35 motherboard and an E6420 CPU

Go to new egg and search for P35 (latest Intel chipset)

The top of the line Abit P35 Pro is only $180 (best choice) and an E6420 should cost you $180 or so.

 
I would check newegg, if you don't live near a Fry's electronics. They had a biostar 945g board with the e4300 retail boxed for only $187 as a combo special.
