Question A Good mother board for i3 10100F

Hi,
After 7 months of a wait (actually I forgotten about it) I got my i3-10100F delivered to me.
I would like to use 3200 Mhz DDR4 memory, now I am not sure it is doable on intel platform with i3
Traditionally I would like to go with P or Z chipset in ATX format.
It usually comes with a better component like VRM/Heat sink and intel nic and good sound card.
TO my understanding I can go with 4XX chipset or 5XX chipset.
So please advise me M.B. good pairing MB with this CPU.
I think I should be keeping a budget of $150 CDN (Yes I am in Kanada)

A B560 chipset-based board should let you run 3200 speed DDR4 RAM, if you set XMP in BIOS. At least, the ASRock B560M-HDV should, as I've tested just that with a Pentium Gold G6400. Hopefully all B560 boards can do that, and not just the ASRock.

Yes I would like to use XMP, now the CPU only support DDR4 2666
Am I pushing toward unknown charters ?
I need known good stable motherboard.

Intel opened up memory overclocking for the "lesser" (non-Z) chipsets in the 500-series family. Research it!

I can't find much info on 500 Chipset, intel keeping a tight lid on it.
I wanted to read/hear reviews on it.

You're probably not searching for the right thing, they've been released and reviewed, Anandtech main page even has a round-up.

Search for "B560 chipset".

everything I have read says mem OC is supported only for I5 and higher.

EDIT: looks like it works with the I3 10100 on the Asrock board.

Bryan at [TechYesCity] found that 10th-gen was limited to 2666 on H510. (But that opens up on B560, at least the -HDV)

Intel has always been weird about this stuff. My H97 would go to 1600 but H81 was limited to 1333.

Also, I could overclock my I5 4690K on the H81 but not on the H97 board.

WoW, intel has change its position on Chipset.
What I have learn all their 500 Chipset series allows memory O.C.
Since my requirement is to run 3200 or higher, nothing fancy, I guess I can even ok with H510 and/or H570 ?
Did I understand correctly ?

You misunderstood. Replacing the motherboard in his laptop is Step 1. Step 2 would be to use that working laptop to research a compatible motherboard for the processor in question. Duh.
