A Good Laptop lock?

Kensington MicroSaver Security Cable Lock

with my Thinkpad for $30.


Wondering if I can do something cheaper.

$30 is a good price - they sell on E-Bay for 2-3 $ more.

There is a cheaper combo version.

A bolt cutter makes quick work of any cable lock.

Those cables won't stop anyone who really wants the physical machine.

The laptop would stayi n a dorm room, if that helps. I doubt college kids would have bolt cutters on them...
