I know that it is pretty rare that you hear about a good CS experience at BestBuy, especially with the Service plans, but today I had one.
3 years ago Michelle and I purchased an Epson Color Stylus 740 photo printer, it finally gave up on us this weekend. We took the printer to BestBuy in Kennesaw GA today, fully expecting to have to raise h@ll at the manager about our service plan. But we actually were surprised. The manager said that the printer is dead, and that they do not repair them. So they went to the back, and pulled a brand new Epson Stylus C60. Now granted, that is not the best printer on the market, it is considerably better than what we had. Then when we checked out, we got the service plan again, for 29.00, but here is the kicker, the printer had a $20.00 MIR, so we got a printer for free, and the PSP for 9.00. So in 3 more years, we will exchange the printer again for a new one.
Just to let ya'll know, that life is not all bad.
