I've gotten to work with about a dozen of these since they came out, 8 all at one time for a customer, and they are one of maybe 3 thermaltake products I've ever considered purchasing myself. Building 8 system w/ OS install in about 4 hours is never fun but, these cases make it a pretty easy afair.

I just built a system for someone with the Armor and I liked it.

I also own a TT Xaser III and that's worked out well too.

I own an Armor case..I love it..the steel one is a bit heavy..you may want to look into getting the aluminum one.. be warned.. these are HUGE cases so make sure you have the room to place it where ever you plannned on...You may also consider waiting a couple weeks as TT is planning on coming out with a new side window for this series that has a 250mm fan in the side panel.. or go ahead and purchase and get the side panel later. I plan on getting the side panle as soon as they are released.

I really don't care if it's heavy, it won't be moving much, but it's a strong case that could last a while right?

Ima getting one, it looks to be built like a tank (weighs a bit more than an Abrams....), so yeah, i think it will last a while.

The one with a 250mm fan is on the site, anyone seen it for sale yet? Also, I wish they would make a black aluminium version (I am buying based on looks here, and the black is what I prefer, unfortunately)

Anyways, I say go for it, and let us know how much you like it. also, are you planning on using the PSU?

I have to say, the armour is pretty nice case. Worked with one to hook up thermal probes and fan controller cables.

For all of its size, it still doesnt make a Scythe Ninja Plus look small :)

I think I'm going to need a really strong psu for overclocking and SLI.

I also like more conservative cases. If I was getting an Armor, it would be one without the side window - and the LED fans would go into the parts bin as well. I like the Eureka partly because of the lack of a window. The Armor Jr. (VC3000) would be good if you don't really need all the drive space or space for a dualie mobo that the big Armor has.

yes this is a very strong case.. I dont see any new cases in the near future for me.. it has the grommets in the back for setting up water cooling and you can also get a BTX kit for it if moboards go strictly BTX instead of ATX this is a very sturdy case and has plenty of places to hide wires if you use your imagination (take off the right side of the case and route the wires along the upright support near the front of the case)..using the little holes along this area to go to where ever you need.I have a modular power supply and have a very good wiring setup inside my case.. just take your time and use your imagination and you can get some great air flow.

Yeah, I would use a bigger PSU for SLI. Im only going to use the stock one for powering my watercooling for leak testing. Very useful to have spares for that.

So... what are the other two you'd consider buying?

I personally use the ARMOR. All my watercooling stuff could fit inside the case but i chose to hang the radiator out the rear of my case externally.

The ARMOR is a wonderful case. Quite honestly one of the best cases i have ever owned. Its extremely Heavy however. The only real problem i came with this case is the stupid PCI locking mechanism. Sometimes my bracket will get stuck inside the retension clip and its a PITA to pull out and install. But once u get comfortable with it, it doesnt become a big problem. Other then that, theres only 3 other cases i would personally pick over the armor. the P180 due to its quietness and smaller size. The TJ-07 because im a avid modder and modding the 07 is almost endless. And the Tai Chi, because i love BIG Cases :p
