A Good Alternative?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of ordering parts for my new rig, which I plan on overclocking. I've read that the DFI LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR is the best SLI mobo for overclocking but that it has poor drivers and needs a PSU with 24-pin connector because it just doesn't work well with a 20-24-pin converter. I have a pretty good 20-pin PSU which I really don't want to upgrade. I was wondering, what would you suggest as a good alternative to the DFI board? I originally planned on ordering the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, but I heard that it was a very poor overclocker. I'm now considering the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI board. What do you guys think of this board? I've heard some people mention that it actually comes very close to the DFI in overclockability. Is this accurate? Should I go with this board or could I use the DFI with a converter without any problems? Please help me out; I'm new to overclocking. This rig is going to last me at least two years, if not three, because I can't afford to constantly upgrade, so I really want to make the right decision now. Thanks in advance for any help.

The ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe isn't a poor overclocker -- most OCing success depends on the CPU, and with the NF4 chipset, to a smaller degree, the RAMs used.

Now my system's using the Newcastle cored Athlon64 CPU attached to the ASUS A9N-SLI mobo, using Corsair Value Select RAMs, and it just so happens that this particular CPU can run at 2585MHz on this mobo stably.
