So about 4 years ago I was sitting in a room with about 20 other new hires of the company and we were reviewing some company protocols. One of the new hires asked about what attire he should be wearing, and the answer was basically business casual.

He still seemed confused so I turned to him and said "Basically what you're wearing now"

He turned to me, seemingly a little miffed, and said:

"Dude, these are $200 jeans"

:awe:

Who ever decided that comfortable, nice looking, long wearing pants aren't acceptable?

What has "acceptable" got to do with anything? Context is everything. Where I come from, shorts are acceptable on the golf course. Jeans are acceptable at some weddings. Polo shirts are acceptable at a restaurant. None of that has anything to do with what constitutes "business casual".

I will excuse your ignorance... once... because of the cuteness of your avatar.
