A friend of mine was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago and will be competing in Ironman Kona this year.

That bike course is brutal. 112 miles through pretty much all lava fields, save for a few miles near Hawi. Ack! I cannot begin to deccribe the heat.

Drew should do well. Prior to cancer, he was always a top finisher even in the national-level events.

He's also someone who rides well in hot weather. I saw him last thursday and he was out training in full winter gear even though it was 80+ that day. Said he was trying to "acclimate". :laugh:

Yeah, well FausTot v2.0 is due in April and those weren't super-cheap last I checked.
