I'm suprised his friend in the navy doesn't tell him to use vaseline!

ROFL... I had to run to the bathroom and spit a mouthfull of mt dew out before it went up my nose :D

wth would you want to do something that retared? 2.6ghz isn't fast enough? let him do it, then when the case leaks it's his own fault

wait... why wouldn't he get the 2.8 and go to 3.3ghz? (or however much faster you could get it going)

The case won't hold that much mineral oil.

I'm not sure. He started the conversation with "you are going to drool." and we went from there. Nice CPU, but you don't install a Sound Blaster Audiology, either. :D My god... this is HILARIOUS! :D

First place, many people are getting over 3 GHz with air cooling alone.

Mineral oil is extremely expensive ($300 probably to fill a case), messy, heavy, and completely overkill for what he thinks he's going to do.

I'll be replacing my 1.8 @ 2.4 with a 2.53 @ ~3 GHz (hopefully) here pretty soon, & I'll use my Swiftech heatsink just like I'm using now.
