A friend asked me this question regarding her computer.

how come everytime i close and reopen my computer, there is this tweeting sound like a bird. if i check my e-mail even if there is no e-mail at all it tweets every time i turned it on.

I assume it is a wav file or she has problems. How does she fix this "tweeting"?

Sounds to me like she has the "Jungle Open" sound selected for 'Open Program' and 'email'.
Look in Control Panel --> Sounds and Audio.

also i noticed when tat thing sounds there is a beetle flashing on top of a temperature reading on the bottom right corner of my screen.
