I have been playing for a few days. Its addicting once you get the hang of it.

It seems to be hinting at pay to play at release. Though for now you get so much gold and free drops that you don't really need the money.

Play as bugs for a challenge. if the humans are not total artards you will have some trouble killing them.

Interesting - it plays sort of like a FPS-RTS, imagine that! It's like watching Starship Troopers honestly. It's kind of a ghetto engine, and at least the human side is nothing more than "Find a good spot and start shooting", but it's mildly amusing.

This looks pretty interesting, although from the description it seems to be more like two games in one than a true FPS/RTS like the Battlezone games.

It's actually kind of like two sides of a game from what I can tell.

You play as human, you're mostly playing an objective-based FPS (defend certain things from the bugs), or go on the offensive and blow up bug stuff.

You play as the bugs, you're more like an RTS in that you're directing swarms of bugs and your character has a bunch of "spells" that you use in order to augment your horde and take out various objectives.

It is an odd game. I have racked up 22 wins as bugs so far. I am barely keeping my rank in the top 100, people are catching up to me quickly.

Berserkers have no limit just like commandos. But zerkers have twice the hp and have a lot more armor. So its a no brainer. I use the hell out of these guys. Wallers are the huge gorrila guys. They are great for making humans back up. They hit hard and are huge.
