A forum specifically for displays..

How can we have a forum for Power Supplies yet not one for displays? We spend so much time viewing our monitors I just think it would be great to have a forum dedicated to them.

The issue, as is the case with a lot of forum requests, is whether there's enough traffic. No one here will argue that displays are an important part of a computer and one of the more agonizing decisions most people will have to make, it's just that there needs to be enough traffic to give us critical mass and sustain said forum. Looking at display topics right now in our various forums, I'm not sure we have the traffic.

Than perhaps we modify the Video Cards and Graphics forum to include Displays in the title? That way that traffic now has a home and is being funneled to one spot so that when one is looking for opinions/info on displays they know where to look. Maybe change it to Video Cards and Displays?

That could be done idd as monitors are discussed in video cards forum.

A section about displays huh? My first thread there will probably involve complaining about the sub-par displays laptops are saddled with compared to tablets and such.

But agreed on the traffic part. I doubt there will be enough to keep that section alive.

I had honestly thought initially that with all these Korean IPS displays driving the price down I would see more forum posts about them. Or just displays in general. But your right, it just isn't high enough traffic to warrant creating a forum for it.

I do like my second idea though of just renaming the Video Cards and Graphics forums to just read Video Cards and Displays. Video Cards and Graphics seems redundant to me.
