A Fleeting Opportunity

Yeah, I know - winter scenes are very commonplace for many of you. But here in Tucson, they are a rarity. This morningk, it was all fogged in - about 50 feet of visibility i9n any direction.

Then about 9:30 AM, the fog started burning off and after a couple of days of a cold, winter storm (snow above 6,000 feet) a beautiful sight emerged. I shot this from my garage door with an EOS 5D and a EF DO IS 70-300mm lens with polarizer.

By noon, this will be gone - melted off. It is the front tier of the Catalina Mountains.

Looks like a nice mountain, but I can't find a single portion of the image that's in focus, unless this was blown up for the web. 🙂
