A few tidbits about the superbowl *rant*

1. they are dragging it on too long. It used to be right after the game they used to give the people the trophies, now we have to listen to Bon Jovi sing. And how long the dreaded half time show was.

2. Why must they give us people like No Doubt at half time shows? It's obvious she was lip syncing, and she was horrible anyway.

3. I have never seen so much indecent exposure of woman before in a whole three hours of my whole life. I thought ABC was owned by DISNEY.

4. The presentation ABC gave was horrible. Horrible camera angles, listening to John Madden talk is like listening to an old man.

didn't look like she was lip syncing to me. you can tell when they do it because they don't say anything other than exactly what is on the audio. she changed it up a bit. shania twain, on the otherhand, could have been.

the half time show did suck ass, though. seems to get worse every year.

I liked Shania's bouncing boobs...

And I don't mind Bon Jovi... but listening to him at the end of the game was stupid as sh|t... They're supposed to have celebrations and stuff during the end of the game.. Plus, the ceremony was crap this time.

My take:

1. The Bucs ran so much they had to drag it out for the commercials.
2. No Doubt was good; how can you be horrible at lip syncing[sp?]
3. Even Disney knows that sex-appeal sells
4. Madden may be dry in his presentation, but he does now what he's talking about.

plus, whats wrong with listening to people that sound like old people? look at chick hearn, he sounded hella old but he was one of the best commentators i know that existed.
