i want to build a raid 0 or 0/1 configuration. i have a few questions.
1) i'd like to use a pci raid card
2)i already have 2 seagate ata IV drives, but i've hear that alot of raid cards have been having performance issues with these drives, so what would you suggest
3) is there really that much of a difference between raid 100 and raid 133 (in terms of ata)
4)i have about $100 to work with for a raid card
5)buy running winxp off this raid array, will programs and the os run faster compared to the 10k drive i have it running off of right now? (ddys 18350 IBM)
6) what does raid do to the drive times ( like both my ata IV drives are rated at 8.9ms) what will it be in raid 0
