ok well basically I read the thread about someone hearing clicking on their X1900XT/X's and well I hear it too on my HIS X1600 pro IceQ. Basically on ATI's website I made a ticket and I was first replied with some faq then I renewed my ticket and someone told me to use some report utility. They told me how to search for it and it wasn't there. I renewed my ticket again and haven't gotten a response in like 4 days... :-(. Was asking them pretty much what I should do...

I also when to HIS's site and made a report and they haven't gotten back to me in like more than 2 weeks and I've tried twice. Now the card runs pretty much fine. I mean it works doesn't artifact and I can pretty much live with it but I the sound is pretty annoying... Nitromullet I think you had an HIS and had to RMA how'd you contact them?

In oblivion I know there's a thread but since I was making this one I might as well ask. Now in oblivion it runs fine outside I run 1024x768 2xaa or pretty much anywhere but anytime I even come close to an oblivion gate I go down to like 2 fps and it won't stop. Also anytime I cast invisibility on myself it will slow down to like 2 fps as well. I know I did something to make it better before but I recently picked it up again since I stopped for a few weeks and this happened again. Is there a way to fix this?

And should I make another ticket for ATI?

The HIS distributor for Monarch is Lexy Pacific Corp, not sure if they are the distributor for where you bought your card from or not. Their RMA request form and contact info is here:

http://lexycomp.com/company/rma.html

They got back to me in a few days about the actual RMA, and I sent them my card. It's been about 3 weeks since they received my card (tracked the shipping), and I haven't heard a peep out of them yet. I am moving to a different address this weekend, so I emailed them to update that and to get a status on the RMA yesterday. I haven't heard anything from them yet. I really do like the X1900XTX, but his experience has really made me miss dealing with a company like eVGA. Luckily, I had funds available to replace my HIS card already or I would have been out of a video card for a month now.

edit: Good Luck...

...and no, you really probably shouldn't contact ATI at all, since they aren't the manufacturer of the board and are not responsible for the warrantee.

so for HIS I'd have to contact lexycorp because they distribute to monarch. Ok thanks I'll look into it since I did buy my card from monarch =D. I've never really had to RMA anything before but I'm thinking about it. 5th day ATI hasn't even gotten back to me -_- lol so we'll see I'll update if I get anything heh even though I didn't buy it from them a response on the problem would be nice heh. I'm gonna cancel and renew the ticket ATI service sucks.

Yeah, I will go ahead and warn you that it will probably take a bit.. I just talked to them and apparently they sent my card to HIS but have not received the replacement back from them yet. When they get the card from HIS they will send it to me. Yay for middlemen... This would be much easier if HIS just let you RMA directly to them. I wonder if I'll get my card back before R600 launches..?
