A few questions, mostly regarding SLI

So I?m going to be building a new PC when the Q9450s come in. I have a few of questions about the current tech, having not built a PC in about a year.

GPU:

SLI and multiple displays, do they work together yet? I only need two monitors total.

Can I automatically shut off SLI when a game is not being played, if that is the only solution?

Does Nvidia have any intention to solve this with driver releases in the future, if they have not already?

Would one 9800GX2 support two monitors?

How about ATI?s solution? I see they have some sort of ?multiple displays CrossFire tool for Vista?, does it work on XP as well?

If anyone has a link with a whole bunch of information about SLI/CrossFire and their respective limitations, I would love to read through it.

Case:

Has anybody here used this case? PC-B25 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811112148

I really like the old PC-65 case, I used for a PC I built years ago and this seems similar. Does it fit the newer generation of GPU? I wouldn?t be using it if I go with with SLI/CrossFire, as I would be worried about heat.

RAM:

With DDR2 so inexpensive right now, would it be worth it to get 8GB? Would 8GB work correctly on XP 64?

Thanks for reading and any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't have any personal experience, but it looks like you can run dual monitors, but not while sli is activated. In the past, this required annoying restarts every time you turned on sli, but supposedly now, you don't have to reboot and will just have to disable sli when not playing games to use the second monitor. Any 64-bit system should be able to run 8GB fine. It's a great time to be buying DDR2 :)

Thanks for the replies, I threw a post up on the video forums about the GPU issue.
