A few questions from a Newbie

I have a few more questions.

First, since the stats didn't
update does that mean dnet
never got anyone's packets,
or are they just taking longer
to process?

Second, I am running a personal
proxy on win 98(only until I get
my new system). The build is 319.
It says in the ChangeLog.txt

<< Participation in contests can now be entirely disabled by setting the "contestclosed" entry within your INI to a negative value. >>

Does that mean I should set the [desII]/contestclosed=-1 and
the [csc]/contestclosed=-1? If so, it is not working correctly.
It still says

<< desII-in: limits adjusted to min 1, max 0
csc-in: limits adjusted to min 1, max 0
>>

when it starts.

Thanks in advnce to anyone who replies.

dunno about the pproxy issue, but dnet does process pretty much every packet, this is just taking a while. so you probably didn't lose any. but they have lost them in the past.

Yeah, what Elfinex says. Dnet can sometimes take a few days to process the stats if they're messing about with the database. It's nothing to worry about.

Dunno about the pproxy issue, I don't use it myself. I'm sure Russ or some such enlightened person will be along soon to help you out though. 🙂
