That's easy. I'd grab the fire extinguisher. :D

The people who believe in god would do the same.

Exactly. The people who believe that god can do anything still don't trust him. When the chips are down they put their faith in real world solutions. Praying is a last resort, it's what people do when they don't have any better options.

So the question is why don't people who believe in god REALLY believe in god? The believers have to answer that one before they can answer anything else.

So if I kill someone with a gun, the bullet goes to hell? Sweet!

And lol@ "primary advantage." They're spending billions to keep out souls safe!

No, just your gun goes to the hell. Everyone knows bullets & hellfire missles have no souls...

1. What happens if you have a mental disorder and you go on a murderous rampage?

It's pretty clear. "Thou Shalt not Kill".

2. What happens if you're attacked and you kill someone in self-defense?

Definitely not a gray area because "Thou Shalt not Kill".

3. What happens if a US drone attacks a terrorist site, but kills innocent women and children instead? Are Americans going to hell?

What part of "Thou shalt not kill" does thou not understandeth?

HELL! *slams gavel*

Except that's not it. The original fairy tale is "Thou shalt not murder", it's only the later fairy tales that translated the original fairy tales wrong.

Funny how nobody seems to know what happened to the Ten Commandments tablets so that the faithful could check the wording. That seems like a fairly important thing to have misplaced it so carelessly.

I think you can actually make a case that what was meant by that commandment is "Thou shalt not murder another jew". Apparently gentiles are fair game according to God.

I think you can make that case pretty easily for any religion. We're the good guys, everyone else can be dealt with violently. Even Pastafarians can get pretty uppity about rice and couscous zealots.

In Christian religion it's believed that if you're' good and without sin you go to heaven.

Christianity teaches that no one is good and no one is without sin. We all deserve punishment/hell. It is only through the death and resurrection of Christ that there is a way to be considered good and without sin in the eyes of God. Believe and obey and his sacrifice covers over our own sin and acts as substitution.

Has anyone mentioned just how fucking stupid you have to be to believe in zombie Jesus? Your child should have to be 13 before exposing them to this nonsense.

Only on the Internet can people REALLY express how they REALLY feel about issues ... and hide behind the veil of anonymity. The power of anonymity gives people the power to be anything they wish ... from a genius to a moron. Me wonders how certain people would act in-person. Me thinks not ...

Jesus arrived on the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria while looking for freedom and avoiding being drowned in the flood. He saw America was awesome. So he made it his chosen land. All Americans go to heaven. Other peoples try to come to America so as to avoid Hell.

That's about all you need to know.

Except for America means America. Not just north america. Canadians, and like, Peruvians and shit go to hell.

The Lord sure does work in mysterious ways to cleanse the Americas of 90+% of its population for its chosen people...

You can be Hitler and exterminate an entire race but as long as you are truly sorry, believe in God, and repent right before you die, you'll go to heaven. Makes total sense.

Christianity in a nutshell. :thumb:

Must be those "judeo-christian values" along with that "personal responsibility."

No wonder Republicans are thumpers and despise bail outs. Oh wait... :)
