Been about 8 years since last build so a little rusty... AM5 system:

Asus B650E-E
7800x3d
64 GB RAM
4090 FE (upright, barely fits)
Kraken Z73

I flashed bios to the latest using Asus flashback with USB 2.0. Green Light flashed for a few min, then went off. AFAIK, I'm ready to hit the power button. What should I expect now? Guessing all the fans will fire up with the AIO if all goes well... But then, what should I do next? Get in BIOS and checkout all components to be sure all are registered, etc... Then, Just load windows from USB...? Then drivers, utilities and away I go? Anything to warn me about? Anything sounds wrong?

You will need to wait about 4 to 5 minutes on a blank screen while the DDR5 is trained. So don't freak out. Give it 10 minutes before deciding there is something wrong.

Might be better to boot it without the 4090 since it has its own iGPU. Put in the 4090 when everything else is running fine and Windows is all ready and updated.

Thank for the advice. I did see those videos. Asus addressed those today: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-responds-to-negative-press-around-am5-issues

As for the AIO, the Asus MoBo I have specifically has a connector called AIO so I plugged it in there. In the MoBo manual, it lists it as a 12V Power connector just like the CPU headers but it appears it's speed can't be accidentally changed in the Bios which kinda makes sense.
