A few questions about 2 M/Bs

I am looking for a KT133A motherboard.
I like the 6 PCI and 1 ISA and RAID config which rules out the ASUS boards and i'v heard problems with the ABIT boards which leave me with either the EPoX 8KTA3+ or the Iwill KK266-R.

I was originally planning to get the 8KTA3+ then the KK266-R came along. I have done some research on motherboards but still have few questions which i hope will help me decide on the right one for me.

1. From what i'v read the KK266-R should be able too support the upcoming Palomino power wise with a new BIOS, will the 8KTA3+ be able too do the same ?

2. I read that M/B's with RAID cant reach as high FSB as non-RAID M/B's, is this true? if so can someone explain why ?

3. Can you disable the RAID option and use all 4 IDE ports as standard non-RAID ports ?

4. Can anyone tell me what rev of the 8KTA3+ uses the new batch of KT133A chips ?

5a. Is the 8KTA3+ BIOS likely too be changed too 1Mhz FSB increases or is that hardware ?
5b. The web page of the TurkOC BIOS for the KK266-R was not english, does that mean the BIOS wont be in english either ?

6. Are there any other issues I should know about before deciding ?

7. Are there any other boards i should consider ?

8. What is the quality of the onboard sound on the KK266-R ? I am considering getting a SB Live! DE 5.1 but if the onboard sound is decent I can spend the money on other things

9. What is a reasonable speed too OC a 1.2Ghz Tbird too?
9a. Do the DDR266 models allow FSB other than 100 and 133 w/o modifying the L1 Bridges ?

I know for the Pro's some of these must seem like stupid questions but I wont learn if I dont ask. I live in Australia which mean I need too wait a few months too get the new stuff, I can get the 8KTA3+ now but is the KK266-R worth waiting another even longer ?
