Greetings:

Just switch to MS Outlook 2003 from Outlook express 6 and would like to know if:

- I can print my e-mail by selecting the page range (only page 1 in my case) that I want . I look through print option, page setup and still unable to find it. The only option I can find is All, Even and Odd.

- I can make Outlook start receiving e-mail as soon as I run or launch it. I look through tools -options and still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the email thing is because its a plain text email. Outlook 2k3 is retarded in this way. If you open up the message (actually open it, not just view it in the preview pane), go to Edit, do Edit This Message, then go to Format, and change it to HTML, normal print settings should come up. Why it is like this is beyond me. Outlook can be soooo good, but there are a number of things that just aggravate me about it!

The sending/receiving part, go to Tools / Options / Mail Setup and then Send/Receive. I think if its set to check every so often it will automatically check on startup. Actually, doesn't it check on startup by default?

Actually, I just find out that I need to open the e-mail to be able to print it the way I want i.e page by page or page range. Effectively, ithe preview pane doesn't have this option.

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion and help. I will keep this in mind for future reference.
