In Europe you'll see SCART connections on most TVs, which may, or may not take S-Video signals.

Hoping I could get a little advice on same subject without startin' another thread.
Just got radeon 8500 retail using s-video out 2 s-video in on tv. Looks very good except for interference bar that constantly starts at bottom and slowly goes up. Is this just how it is or is there ways of possibly getting rid of it??? Thanks

No, you shouldn't have that. Cable maybe? Does it do the same thing if you use the composite connection?

yes, does it with composite as well. Tv is a 27" trinitron just for info. Haven't really had time to play around with too much. Gonna try getting puter closer to tv so I can shorten the lenght of cable. Maybe disconnect home theater, lamps, etc. Then see if I can pinpoint the culprit, hopefully.
