The tall hotel that's barely in the first beach picture (the shore club) is where all the ballers go.
Me and my buddies stayed at the holiday in a block down from the shore club for spring break... when we went out on friday, they had a murcielago and a rolls parked in the driveway.

edit: I bought booze at the liquor store in the first pic 🙂

We stayed at the National. There was an awesome 80's cover band at the Clevelander. That place rocked.

It was quite badass. When I stepped in, it felt like I walked into the 1940's. Beautiful place, and quite modern, but atmospheric. I halfway expected to see Bogart in the corner smoking a Lucky Strike.

BTW: We got the National for $85 through hotwire. 😀
 
Nice photos, nice pool, nice price on the room, glad to hear you had a good time.

That photo of the beach makes me feel a little depressed knowing that it'll be at least a couple of more months before I'll get a chance to see the ocean again.

lol. was in Miami for WMC. went to the clevelander twice...

weds night (23rd) we left before even finishing our drink. :disgust: music was terrible, they were having a "professional dancer" competition :roll::laugh: and the women there were 'party girls'.

tues evening (28th) the next week we had a great time. music was more to our liking, they had a couple breakdancers who were quite impressive and lots of truly gorgeous 'beach babes'..

('party girls' were the ladies who live & work in South Beach and still managed to have a beer gut.. the 'beach babes' were the true hotties of Miami)

I'll try to find some pics my friends won't kill me for posting.
 
i need to go on vacation somehwere just to get away from fvcking PA for a few days but hell if i can afford it...
