A thin bridge of solder is never enough to make a connection, but always enough to be a short.

An errant spark can light a forest fire, but you can go through a box of matches trying to light a camp fire.

A tiny crack can make a building fall apart, but you'll spent a half a day getting that panel to finish coming out.

A rusty screw or nail won't hold something on, but you sure as hell won't be able to get what it's holding off.

Feel free to continue

A man went over a giant waterfall e.g. Niagara Falls in a barrel and survives, only to take a cleanup shower where he slips on the soap and dies from trauma.
