A few more questions about putting computer together?

How do you know which way to put the ram in? Because I've heard putting it the wrong way in will make it burn up. What about the Power Supply to Motherboard plug? As you can tell I'm worried about damaging something by plugging it in the wrong way since this is my first my build so I'm trying to look out for possible pitfal before I start. Thanks for all the help so far...

It's practically impossible to put the ram in backwards, it won't fit and will give resistance.

On the RAM slot there'll be these little ...bumps? They align with holes on the bottom of the ram chip, if they're aligned, you're not backwards.

Same thing goes for the PSU plug, there is literally only one way to put it in.

Well if you aren't deliberately plugging in things which won't fit there's no way you can damage things. Good luck
