a few hardware questions in win2k (sblive and connectix quickcam)

has anyone gotten the rear speaker output to work in win2k for sblive? i can't seem, no matter what i set, whether it be in the sblive installation, or the control pannel, for it to output to the rear speakers.

also, anyone get the connectix color quickcam 2 to work in win2k? it says win2k is unsupported on the site but i was wondering if anyone has figured something out.

thanks.

Go to Creative's website and download Livewire 3 for Win2000 and then install it to get the rear speakers turned on

I got the rear speakers working using just the w2k drivers from the soundblaster site.

Liveware seems impossible to install. I download and when I try to install it says bad installation media/file (or something). Anyone know why this happens?

I'm having the same problem also. I bought a 5 piece (4 speakers and a sub)Altec set and when i connect the cable from the sub to the SB live MP3 + 5.1 sound card, i just get music from the main speak. I can't hear the left or the rear. But, when i connect the cable from the sub to the headphone port on the sound card, i can hear both the front speakers, but still can't hear the rear. I just put the rear ones away because it sounds great without them. But if you know how to make it work, just let me know.

Thanks.
