Woah, thats pretty cool.

Who made that? b/c it looks like the lips actually match the voices. Was this a valve production or just some hardcore hl2 fans?
 
I think it's getting hammered. Takes foreve to load, and the lips aren't synched to the sound.

Or is it because I'm defragging my hard drive right now?

the reason the lips sync is because valve put a lot of effort into making lip animations capable of every vocal sound (at least english).

yeah, that one is a nice usage of the engine, but overall very... "meh"
