Helping a friend with a new Gen 6 HP AIO and Win10, with these issues

1) No matter what the screen turn off or the sleep turn off is set to, it shuts down the screen within about 2 mins, and log in password is required, despite being set to Password not needed on Wake up, including from the passwords2 box.

2) There's "Mail" in the tiles, started with a new Outlook account, and gmail yahoo mail etc added, and they all show up there, but log into the same Outlook account directly from Edge and it shows only the Outlook, none of the rest, makes no sense to me.

3) there are others, but I'd be thrilled with some insight into these basics, Thanks!

1) Check for any HP bloatware, I strongly suspect some extra control panel is overriding Windows' settings.

2) In the Mail app, have you "linked" these accounts under Manage My Accounts?

will check the bloatware

in the original set up of Outlook, no previous account, first timer, and of course at that point went from a "personal" no password start up to signing in to ms in order to start windows. So the large "mail" tile takes you to outlook with gmail and yahoo mail and icloud accounts no problem. but log in to outlook from edge typing www.outlook.com and it signs right in, but only the outlook.com mail shows up, Manage accounts gives her the chance to duplicate the effort of linking all, but why should she have to do that? she already did it.

The Mail app in tiles is not Outlook and therefore has nothing to do with the Outlook website.

Well apparently so, but really Microsoft? The app and the site SHOULD be linked, since they share the same name and the same log in! But is what it is, I'll just have her link the other accounts again. She's an iPhone iPad user, we'll have to see if there's an Outlook app in the iStore. Thanks folks, there'll doubtless be more questions, and we appreciate the input.
