I'm putting a system together for audio and video use with an eVGA GeForce 6800GT as my graphics card...here are the rest of the system specs:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
2 GB of OCZ PC3200 DDR RAM
eVGA GeForce 6800GT
Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
Western Digital 74GB SATA 10K RPM Raptor
Western Digital 200GB SATA 7.2K RPM
Optorite DD1203 DVD Burner
Another CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive

First, will the cooling that comes stock on the eVGA 6800GT be enough? I saw a few posters who used an Artic Cooling NV Silencer 5 on their 6800s...Should I get one or is extra graphics cooling only necessary for hard-core gamers? Also, do I need to get a seperate TV tuner card or is this included on the 6800GT? The specs said the card had TV-OUT but I wasn't sure what that meant. Thx.

Stock cooling is fine, otherwise they probably wouldn't have shipped the cards with these coolers.
Overclockers usually get into the aftermarket cooling.

There is no TV tuner in the 6800GT. You'll need a separate card.

TV-OUT would be that small round connector in between the DVI and D-Sub connector. This enables someone to pipe video card output to a TV.

Side note: It looks like you have built a power hungry system but you did not list your power supply.
Make sure you have a premium quality 400w (minimum) PSU. You have 2 hard drives, 2 optical disks, 2 GB of memory, Audigy 2, Althlon64, 6800GT and will need another TV-tuner card. That a lot of juice thats needed. So Enermax, Fortron, Thermaltake, Antec are some solid name brands.
