Hi All. I just bought a U.S. retail copy of FarCry on eBay. If the original owner registered the copy, would that prevent me from playing the game? What about online? (thought some say that the FC multi-player isn't worth your trouble.) If the original owner copied the game, and he's playing @ the same time as me, would I get kicked?

P.S. Whats the latest patch for FC? Isn't a new patch coming out soon?

Yes
 
I had a similar situation with Red Alert 2 - spoke to Westwood and they re-allocated the key to me once I sent them photocopies of the CD and Serial Number so you should be able to resolve it if he has copied the CD and is still playing online
