canon S40. i suppose i could have put it in there as well and used my mom's POS kodak instead. alternatively i could have used my spotmatic, gotten the film developed, scanned it in, and then posted it. but that seems like a lot of work for just screwing around a bit.

That AE-1 was a solid 35 SLR. When I returned from 'Nam in 59, I brought a brand new one as a gift for my father-in-law. He took to it rather quickly.

My "family" is too eclectic. It has Leica, Pentax, Nikon, Canon, and Olympus.

It's a nice family portrait!

My "family" consists of a crippled old uncle - Olympus D470Z - that used to take great pictures before "the war" where it was maimed by an evil midget blond tornado (my daughter), and pretentious teenager - Fuji S6000fd - that pretends it's a high end SLR by dressing nice and displaying many advanced features but it's still just an immature soul inside a grown up body. :p
