I'm not sure about the new test but the old one was about 25-30 for hardware and 20-25 for software

WOW, 35-35 questions? Damn...when I took it it was 65-70 questions for EACH part. There were 2 parts: Windows/DOS and Hardware. It was pretty easy though, I think I only got 3 wrong total. Good Luck.

If you really want to take it and can wait for a few months, wait until this summer when it goes back to being adaptive.

A+ consists of 2 parts. Both 30 questions each(if u answer 20 consecutive questions right u pass and dont have to answer 10 more)Once u answer u cant go back and u pay 100$. Hurry up because on march 31 it changes. Microsoft is adding Win NT and Win 2000 to the exam.

depending on which practice exam you have, the test is a peice of cake. like someone else had mentioned, 10 minutes for each part. study and you will be fine. some practice tests are better though so look for a good one. the one that i used was called "choice's".
