A+ exam - hard???

I am going to take my A+ cert test in a couple weeks....I am reading the "exam cram" book and on the practice tests I do pretty well.

Anyone here have any tips on what I can expect? I am kinda nervous....this will be my first certification test

The exam is easy. I was in and out in 15 minutes for both exams. If you score at least 90% on your practice tests, you'll do fine.

15 minutes for *each* exam? Or both total?

Jesus....I'm gonna be so nervous....it will probably take me 15 minutes to answer the first question, lol.

I know I'll do better on the hardware portion.....the OS one might give me a few problems.

it isn't bad, but does have some cheesy questions, like being able to tell the different ways of doing the same thing in various versions of windows. I thought the OS one was more difficult than hardware, probably because I've been messing around with hardware for fun for years.

Test is easy. On my test, there were some wacky connector questions, though the newer tests may not have them anymore.

I think the days of the 15 minute test is over for A+. Right after I took mine (finished both within 15 minutes total) they changed the testing format so you can only take the version with a set number of questions. Everyone who finished it in 15 minutes prolly took the adaptive version. I think mine had a total of 30-40 questions, but I think the other one has 60-80 questions per test... but I dont remember for sure. I found it surprisingly easy, but it was basicly a DOS and Win3.11 test. Memorize your irq's.
