A+ Essentials practice test?

Im looking for an essentials practice exam that I can take, my test is scheduled for 4 days from now and I want to do some preperations.

I just did this one, and I was working on somthing else while doing it and i still got a 72/100 so i think im already mostly there, especially if I give it my full attention.

If you are good at taking down material and testing, I'd recommend going CCNA and then pick a CCNP tract you are passionate about.

Security and Voice are big. Data Center is growing as well.

I took down renewing my CCNA (originally I got it in 2003 or something), CCNP (Route / Switch), CCNA Wireless ans CCNA Voice (as of last monday) this past year.

I am shooting to complete my CCNP Voice the end of 2013 and then go CCIE (Route / Switch) by 2015

ok i took it in like 2006 but i used like this mike meyers handbook and the practice questions were similar to the test. theres a newer edition

I would like to go into networking but I do not feel confident in my ability to pass CCNA. I took a training course for it but my teacher was a complete dumbass and I dont think im ready for it. At least with A+ im confident that I wont blow 350$ on nothing.

Im leaving in 30 min for my exam, what sort of questions should I expect? I have been studying laser printers but pparently I need to memorize IRQ assignments too which I have never done.

After i do the practical applications exam im applying to a job that im almost guarenteed, 15$/hr straight out of high school.

I'd shoot for better than that. Remember your first 'wage' sets a stage at a company.

I was making $12.50/hr in high school back in 1988/89.

$15 is a great wage, and probably may be a product of where you live...but there is a lot of low hanging fruit out there for guys willing to do some effort down the certification pathway.

I'd see if you current employer would cover other certifications and then take them down and grow your value. We have a few young 20 somethings pulling down ~$100k a year.

OP, never heard back.

I'd really really really recommend picking up the CCNA books from CiscoPress and taking them down.

Then keep going from there.

I really wish I just went this route from Day 1. A college degree is great, but many companies are willing to pick up the tab for that once you grow with them if you can't do it now.

There are so many guys I know that aren't even 25 yet and pulling down 6 figure salaries. Most in this group have their CCIE or they have been doing it heavy for 7+ years.
