Here's one that will undoubtedly scream my newbiness down the halls of the anandtech forums.

What exactly is the difference between TV-OUT and VIVO. I realize that VIVO stands for Video-in/out, but how is Video-out different from TV-OUT?

TV-OUT and Video out are the same thing, the TV-OUT term is used on cards that have no TV-IN and term VIVO is used for cards that have in and out. Go figure.

Oh I see... that makes a lot of things easier for me.

Just to clarify, Video-in consitutes for example, pluggin in a digital camera or your television to your video card and capturing video directly right?

A digital camera interface is not normally considered "video-in", video-in generally consists of a connection between a video card and an analog video source such as s-video, composite or coaxial to a VCR, camcorder cable TV or Satellite dish, usb connectors and firewire are generally considered ports(can hook a variety of devices) and are not generally found on a video card.
