Convert the files to mp3 or wma using a conversion program. I use dbPowerAMP and have had much success with it. You can get it at www.dbpoweramp.com . You will need to get to the m4a/aac codec from Codec Central (on the same website) as dpPowerAMP comes only with mp3 LAME and wave codecs.
If you want to convert to wma, you'll need the Windows Media 9.1 codec as well.
If you want to take the quick and easy route, you can get the plugin for WinAmp that will output any audio to an mp3 file, load up your playlist, set the output plugin to capture the files, then just hit play and wait a few minutes.
