I'm ordering all the parts needed for broadband connection (ADSL) and a home LAN, and while I have a router with built in Modem chosen, I don't know what cables to buy.
I'm going to be connecting via a telephone socket that's going to have a telephone plugged in as well, so I need a microfilter.
Should I get an RJ11 male to RJ11 male cable to be able to plug in and use the BB connection, or do I need a different type of cable?

Doesn't your router have a cable provided? Anyway, if not, you'll need a RJ11-RJ11 cable, and a microfilter. You will also need microfilters for ALL phone points which have a phone, sky box or anything else plugged in :)

I'm going to need a longer cable than will be provided (haven't ordered the router yet, but I'm 90% sure that it'll have a 5m max cable, looking at 7.5m for my needs).
I think I have everything, modem+router (combined, wired+wireless), Cat5e cables (NOT crossover), network cards, wireless network cards, RJ11-RJ11 cables, microfilters.

Where will the phone go? Will it be where the router is, or where the phone point is? If it's with the router, use a standard BT extension cable, then put the Microfilter at the end, away from the socket :)
