Well the Micro Center next to me is a 10 minute drive, and its less than 2 miles away from Fry's Electronics. So yes I can stop by both and buy all my needs for a computer. Now if I only lived next to Newegg...
Thanks.....rub it in why dont you?!?
the mc in patterson nj has 30 million people less then 90 minutes away.
plus sales tax is 3.5 percent.
I would venture to say the mc serves 150 million people in under a 90 minute ride.
SO WHAT I AM SAYING IS HALF THE COUNTRY CAN GO TO THEM WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF PLANNING I DISAGREE WITH THE OP AND RIFTER A SMALL FRACTION OF PEOPLE IS NOT TRUE
IF you go with 2 people and buy 2 combos then sell one on ebay the gas is free.
So if half the country can do it that is good enough for me.
BTW I drove the 66 miles each way to get an intel 2500k and mobo at a 105 dollar discount. Made a day of it went with my wife we grabbed some great pastries at a mid-eastern bakery and ice cream from an second store.
Then we took a few dozen photos of the waterfalls in paterson.
Ohh totally forgot about traffic....Boston rush hour
Sorry, but that made me laugh. I was at the Cambridge/Boston MC yesterday and drove back to the Cape through "rush hour", as I have a few times now, and I've noticed something.....Boston's rush hour is WIMPY! Try the Wash. DC metro area or Atlanta for rush hour traffic. Boston's is nuttin'....heck, only had to stop once for a few seconds, unheard of in ATL's or NOVA's traffic.
Try going the other way next time lol it will take you 45 min to get on 95 and then good luck on that 1 hour jam once on 95 north.
You can see a line of cars on 93 for about a mile on the right lane not moving from trying to take the exit.
