A Dilemma:

This is my component stand.

If I run the component power cords and speaker wires through the wire management holes all together will I induce noise out to my speakers?

Top shelf - Turntable
Second shelf - AVR
Third shelf - CD Jukebox

it's possible if you are running analog cables. Digital cables won't be bothered. I would put the AVR on the bottom so that the speaker cables can just go to the floor and bypass the power cables.

That cant be true! That would suck. My stock IR remotes have unusual wide range and work off of wall-reflections too

No you won't. There is a reason most speaker cables aren't shielded. The high current/low load impedance nature of the connection means that noise induced by nearby cables is not a big concern.

In short, don't worry about it.

Also, about the AVR. The Harmony remote has a ridiculously wide range. I would be surprised if it didn't work.

From an audiophile perspective, if they can't be separated (interference falls off as r-squared or r-fourth power, I forgot), speaker cables and power cords should be run parallel to each other, while interconnects should cross the other two at right angles if possible.

Practically speaking, don't know if really would make a difference unless it's a very high resolution system.

It's on the same wall as my TV but slightly blocked by a couch. The upper shelves aren't.

yeah speaker cables and power cables can run parallel to each other. The interconnects, try not to, but you aren't guaranteed to have any problems.

On my Salamander Archetype rack, there's a wire channel that allows you to route and hide cables behind each of the rear pillars. Dunno if that'll fit you Sanus, but there may be other solutions of the like out there.

Heh heh... It can be done but it's not very easy. I'm troubleshooting a problem with my sub so I've re-done some wiring.

I'll be buying some of that plastic split conduit.

I looked at the Salamander line. Nice products but they were out of my budget range. I'm going to use split plastic conduit attached to the back of my rear pilllar.
