Where does it say they are Democrats? It says they are two former CIA analysts who think Bush is doing a terrible job. That doesn't require a party label, just a little common sense.

Did you read the LETTER in the middle of the text and the part about who wrote??? Geez, you forum boys are scary.
Kathleen and Bill Christison are both former CIA political analysts. Kathy has been a freelance writer since resigning from the CIA in 1979, dealing primarily with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Before retiring in 1979, Bill was director of the CIA's Office of Regional and Political Analysis. He has written extensively in recent years on the problems of U.S. foreign policy.

Cliffnotes:
First paragraph: Kerry has good domestic policy but his foreign policy sucks as much as Bush's.
Second paragraph: Their issues are Bush's push for US hegemony, invasion of Iraq and support for Israel.
Third paragraph: They think the Bush doctrine is BS and hate the fact that Kerry supports the same thing.(massive military build-up, ability to project US power wherever it wants in the world etc)
Fourth paragraph: Another attack on US hegemony, but this time dealing specifically with Iraq. They think it was and continues to be a mistake. They hate the fact that Kerry only seemed to be a fervent anti-war support when he was trying to get the nomination, but now he doesn't seem to be much of one.(He doesn't like how Kerry wants more troops. The article also says that we should get out of Iraq altogether)
Fifth paragraph: He thinks the current US policy of unequivocal support for Irael is a joke and that something needs to be done about it.
Sixth paragraph: They reassert that they hate Bush's policy and that Kerry's policy is just as bad. They also think the neocons are idiots.(but notice they don't say regular old conservatives)
It is more of a "Republicans aren't having who should [John McCain] be running so we'll support the other guy" article
Also, on who wrote it.

Again, nothing really sticks out that they are Democrats, just that they cannot stand Bush's policies and that Kerry does not offer much on foreign issues.
