A decent socket a mobo

Okay I know this is an old subjest but which motherboards have multiplier adjustments and voltage adjustments? I want a nice cheap mobo but I also want it to be a good overclocking motherboard. Is there any difference between IDE RAID built on the mobo and a seperate IDE RAID card?

if ya want onboard raid, get the KT7 RAID, otherwise get the A7V. People will argue this back and forth as long as you let them. It's totally preference, both are very good boards.

a real raid card has 16mb to 64mb ecc cache, mine has battery backup in case you shut the computer down and power goes out. Battery will save the info in memory for up to 3 days till everything comes back. Those are SCSI raids, ide raids just do basic stuff mirroring and striping.. waste your ide channels limits your growth unless you raid 75 gigs at a time...
