A day that will live in infamy

In 1941, as war time activities increased, the US War Department began to use the President Coolidge for occasional voyages to Honolulu and Manila but it wasn?t until after the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 5, 1941 that she was fully commissioned as a transport ship for reinforcing garrisons in the Pacific.

😕

I give a second "huh?"

They sank a WWII ship for divers? That happens all the time. If you're talking about the President taking voyages to Honolulu, there weren't many planes that had the range to take people there at the time.

I guess we're not sure what you're getting at.

Op was talking about this date

You would have thought the "que the speech" reference would have made it easier.

What is "que the speech"? That roughly translates to "What the speech?"
Yeah, "que the speech" makes no sense. "Cue the speech", however, is an applicable phrase but the OP is vague at best. It's an odd time to bring up Pearl Harbor.

And if by odd time you mean I posted it when I came across it cause what reason would I have to save it, then yes.

What I find laughable is that almost the exact same posts have been poasted by two different users who posted within two posts of each other.

"Queue" would have worked as well.
