I took a job with American General a little over a month ago. A few days ago, my manager and i went out on premium collections. We went to this one persons house to collect a small $60 premium. When we got to her house, she said that she did not have any money to pay the premuim, but didnt want her policy to lapse. So she decided that she was going to pawn some of her jewlery. An odd way to pay for your insurance, but hey, whatever works for you.
She then told us that she will be right out, but first she has to roll an "L". So my manager and I waited in the car. Ten minutes later, she comes walking out of her house with her 4 year old daughter (1 of 3 of her kids) and a very large joint in her hand. She got into the car, and she lit the joint. Keep in mind that all of this is happening at 1pm.
What kind of person are you, that you can not afford your life insurance payments, but you have money to buy drugs. What is even worse, is that she has 3 kids to support. I think child youth services should pay her a visit, post hatse.
