so, i woke up at 8PM on sunday night...

spent a few hours playing civ3 and chatting here and there... while trying to acquire rag0 beta

then took a shower at 3 AM or so

spent a few more hours playing civ3 and chatting, while waiting for rag0 patches

i left a quarter to 9am to take my final at 10am, i have a 1 hour commute. but when i got out the door, i ran into the con ed guy. there goes a few minutes of my time.

so i get to campus early as i had hoped. and well, i took the test.

i left around 10:45 after leaving one answer blank. it was one of those easy finals. you know the kind where it is possible to get a 90 out of 100 on the test and get a "C"

i went up to the compusa on 58th ST and broadway to snatch that imation black CDR deal with MIR. so i took one, and walked around the store to see if i could dump any more money which i did not have. so i walked around and someone familiar walked right past me... it was Alan Alda, yeah the guy from MASH

after compusa i took the bus down to J&R which is like 2-3 blocks from "ground zero." i like taking the bus, it was the M6 which i took from 7th AVE and 58th ish street down to park place (next to city hall). i went and walked around. btw, if you go there, there is a sort of hot deal on a logitech bundle (keyboard, mouse and web cam, a $99 value) for $39.99. i did not wind up getting anything there. but i was the first time i have been there since the 9-11 during the day. i could still smell the smell if you know what i mean.

so i took the subway home and went to mcdonalds. i walk out after buying 2 plain double cheeseburgers and small fries. there was this kid, 2 to 3 yr old, "running" down chasing after his father (i assume). so i smile... i like kids =)

now i am home.

<< Did ya yell, "Hey, Hawkeye! How they hangin'?"

He loves it when people do that....
>>

no, he sorta disappeared behind a corner.

2 years ago, i saw tim robbins on the 38th ST and 5AVE compusa, on two separate occasions, during the holiday shopping period.

You should have followed him. I would have - and I'd keep saying "Hey, Hawkeye!" until he addressed me.... or called for the cops....
