I got some too with my e6750. I can't imagine them running any hotter than the Ballistix which use the same chips most of the time especially considering the heat spreaders are actually attached to the A-Data ones a little better.

finished testing them --killer ram for $40 after the rebate .

1100mhz @ 2.2v dimm didn't try higher --i think there is some more left in them .they could likely go 1150-1200. didn't see the point as conroes that can best 500fsb are rare birds for the time being anyway .,and i like to run 1:1 ratio

after benchmarking for hours @ 1100mhz and 2.2 vdimm they were warm --but not hot at all . but they are warmer then my corsair xms was at 1068 mhz 2.2v

they were tested @ 5-5-5-15 in a abit ip35e 1:2 ratio so i wouldn't run out of cpu cause my e2140 has a lid around 400+fsb no way it can make 500+ +needed to really stress the ram . i think they are micron d9's but i'm not pulling the heat-spreaders to find out . they ran flawless @ 800mhz 4-4-4-12 too.

my corsair has the pro-mos chips everybody hates --but they had no problems hitting 1068 @ 2.2v dim--didn't try them @ 1100 but i think they would have been ok there too .

I went ahead and got the OCZ SLI-Ready PC2-6400 CAS4 2GB kit (OCZ2N800SR2GK). $35 AR from the Egg with free shipping was too tempting. It took some tweaking and moving them to the secondary slots to get them stable, but they seem OK at 800MHz 4-4-4-15-1T. I hope I don't come to regret this - I'm a little troubled that they wouldn't run right in the slots I had my Firestix in, but I've always heard the P5N-E SLI was really picky about memory & timings, and have heard many complaints about memory performance in the yellow slots. Time will tell.

yeah if they were hot in the reviewer's system it was probably because they were trying to max them out or the rest of their system was hot from being ocd.
