I checked the warranty on the A-Data site. A-Data branded modules have lifetime warrany. These are "V-Data" branded, which have a two-year warranty, except in Germany, France and Austria, which get ten years. A-Data link

the speed is backwards compatible right? since this whole new ddr2 came out i'm not sure anymore. cause dell specs state ddr2 400 only on my e510 dell.

I think I will get 4GB of this dirt cheap dog cr@p stuff......

I figure 4gb of cheap-o ram will mean better real world performance than 2gb uber ram, for gaming that is. Then again, I am no ram expert.

Any thoughts?

its cl5 at 1.8v . with some voltage that could probably be cl4. its probably the equal to most "gaming" ram, most of which is just pretested ripoff.

HeatSpreaders are worthless anyways...this ram will game just fine! 2.0 volts is nothing.
