i have recently replaced my case and power supply from a 233w to a 400 watt
my sys is amd xp 2000 ,384mb ,pc133 ram ,geforce3 ,soundblaster live card
now when i play games (morrowind/diablo2/sof2) between 30min to 1hr (not always)the game would freeze and i would get a loud crackling/hissing noise from the speaker
anyone know the problem thanks
 
There is some compatibility problems with AMD Athlon xp and windows XP

Some stability problems i think i dont know a lot about that

try some of the utilities found or gurru3d

download all software u found about nvidia tweaking and try to enable athlon and windows 2000 stability problem and hey have u some thing overclocked alos check for overclocked cpu or card i think trying some software for tweaking your card and enabling the athlon and windows 2000 stability problem will solve ur problem
