a course in "scientific programming"

skim milk

courses like programming using Java and programming for CIS majors and etc.

Would a course in Object Oriented Programming satify this?

Also would a OOP course be a good introductory class for programming? I'm a beginner

bump... don't know why
can't really tell if the question was even answered or maybe I'm just seeking random replies related to this topic

Are you asking if OOP will satify a specific course requirement for your major? I think the better way to get that answer would be to ask your faculty advisor.

When I was in college in the 60's, scientific programming meant FORTRAN.

Computers may have changed since then . . .
